Cost guide

How much does event translation cost?

An honest guide to what drives the price of live translation — and what doesn't.

The short answer

Live AI event translation with Orato Flow is priced per live hour of translation, not per language: all 70+ languages and unlimited language pairs are included at a flat rate. You buy hours as a pack (10 to 100 hours, valid 12 months, shared across unlimited events), as a renewable Annual Plan for weekly cadences, or as a custom Enterprise engagement. Exact pricing is quote-based — tell us your event and we'll send a figure you can hand to procurement.

What drives the price

Three things set your quote.

Everything else about your event — languages, audience size on the big screen, number of events — doesn't move the number.

1

Live hours

The main unit of cost. A live hour is 60 minutes of active real-time translation, metered to the minute — a 45-minute session consumes 0.75 hours. Setup, rehearsals, and idle time are free.

2

Mobile users per event

Big-screen captions and room audio are always unlimited. The only capacity number that matters is how many attendees need private translation on their own phone — plans include a baseline (250 or 500), with add-ons for larger audiences.

3

How often you run events

One-off or occasional events fit Hour Packs (10–100 hours, valid 12 months, shared across unlimited events). A steady weekly cadence fits the Annual Plan, which has a lower per-hour rate. Multi-room productions with managed support are Enterprise.

What doesn't cost extra

Four things that never change your quote.

  • Number of languages — all 70+ languages and unlimited language pairs are included at the same flat rate. Adding Spanish, Mandarin, and Vietnamese to the same session costs nothing extra.
  • Number of events — hours from a pack can be spread across as many events as you like within their 12-month validity.
  • Setup and onboarding — there is no setup fee. Pricing includes configuration, technical guidance, and training for your team.
  • Big-screen audience size — in-room captions and audio are unlimited on every plan.

Frequently asked

Cost questions, answered straight.

Orato Flow pricing is quote-based and built on live hours: you buy a bundle of translation time (Hour Packs of 10, 25, 50, or 100 hours, an Annual Plan, or an Enterprise engagement) and spend it across your events, metered to the minute. All 70+ languages and unlimited language pairs are included at a flat rate, so cost does not increase with the number of languages.
